Each program at ABS Academy has specific eligibility requirements based on the academic level and specialization. Whether you're applying for undergraduate, postgraduate, or diploma programs, we ensure a transparent and merit-based selection process that considers your academic performance, entrance examination scores, and personal aptitude.

Program-Wise Eligibility

Postgraduate Programs

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field from recognized university
  • Minimum 50% marks in graduation (45% for reserved categories)
  • Valid entrance examination scorecard (if applicable)
  • Relevant work experience (for specific programs)
  • Statement of Purpose and Professional Goals

Undergraduate Programs

  • 10+2 (or equivalent) from recognized board
  • Minimum 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories)
  • English and Mathematics as mandatory subjects
  • Admission based on merit and entrance test
  • Valid score in competitive entrance examination

Diploma Programs

  • 10th Pass or 10+2 from recognized board
  • Minimum 40% marks (35% for reserved categories)
  • Basic English language proficiency
  • Direct admission based on merit
  • Age limit: No upper age limit

Eligibility FAQs

Do I need to have passed all subjects in 10+2?
Yes, you must have passed all subjects in your 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized board. However, we consider the aggregate percentage as the main criterion, not individual subject marks.
What about candidates from different educational boards?
We accept candidates from all recognized boards including CBSE, ICSE, State Boards, NIOS, and International Boards. The key requirement is that your board should be recognized by the Government of India.
Are there relaxations for reserved category candidates?
Yes, we provide relaxations as per Government guidelines for SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories. Reserved category candidates require 5% lower marks compared to general category in entrance examinations.
Can I apply if my 10+2 is from outside India?
Yes, international qualifications are accepted if they are equivalent to Indian 10+2 standard. You must provide an equivalence certificate from AIU (Association of Indian Universities) or AICTE.
Is entrance test mandatory for all programs?
Entrance tests are mandatory for most UG and PG programs. For some diploma programs, admission is purely merit-based on 10th or 10+2 marks without entrance test. Check your specific program's admission guidelines.
What if I don't meet the minimum eligibility?
If you're slightly below the minimum requirement, you can contact our Admissions Office. In exceptional cases with strong potential, discretionary admission may be considered. We recommend you still apply to check eligibility.
Can working professionals apply for postgraduate programs?
Yes, working professionals are encouraged to apply. Some of our postgraduate programs are specifically designed for working professionals with flexible timings and distance learning options.
What about age limit for admission?
There is no upper age limit for most of our programs. We welcome students of all ages. However, some professional programs may have specific eligibility criteria related to age.
