The objective of the MBA program at
ABS ACADEMY OF SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT is
to provide an applied business education in a
multi-cultural learning environment.
Our programme aims to provide decision-making capabilities of our students by providing a functional business foundation and enhancing their analytical, communication and technological skills.
Course:Master of Business Administration (Full Time)
Eligibility: Graduates from any stream under(10+2+3), or a professional graduate like BE, B.Tech., BBA, BCA etc and qualified in CAT/MAT/JEMAT are eligible to apply for admission.
All students have to clear the "Group Discussion" & "Personal Interview" conducted by the college (Final Year appearing student can also apply but their admission will be subject to clear in the qualifying examination within the due date).
Duration: 2 years (4 Semesters)

Course Structure:1st year: Economic Environment of Business; Business communication; Organizational Behaviour, Quantitative method; Indian Social Structure; Financial Accounting; Business Laws; Managerial Economics; Values & Ethics in Production Management; Operations Research; Management Information System; Human Resource Management; Financial Management; Research Methodology.
2nd year: Quality Management; Cost Accounting; Computer Application in Business; Material Management; Electives (Specification papers); Project Work (8 weeks) & vivavoce; Entrepreneurship development; Project Management; Strategic Management; Public System Management.
Note: In the 2nd year i.e. in 3rd & 4th semester a student has to study a total of 8 specialisation papers, 6 from one group & 2 from any other group.
Specialisation Group:Marketing: Sales & Distribution Management, Advertising & Sales Promotion, Marketing Research, International Marketing, Service Marketing, Consumer Behaviour.
Finance: Public Finance & Corporate Taxation, Working Capital Management, Security Analysis & Portfolio Management, Money & Capital Markets, International Finance, Management of Financial Services.
Systems: Database Management, E-Business, Computer Aided Management, System Analysis & Design, Fundamentals of Networking.
Human Resource: Employment & Compensation Administration, Human Resource Planning, Labour Laws, Industrial Relations, Organizational Development, Human Resource Development
